Embroidered JAT TOTE - MIdnight

This one of a kind hand woven silk tote showcases a hand embroidered panel skilfully stitched by the Jat Garasiya community of the Kutch region of Gujarat in north western India. Its a work of art to be enjoyed and celebrated...the only decision is which colour to choose.

Using only the cross stitch, the Jat community creates intricate geometrical mosaics of incredible beauty. This tribal embroidery is bold, colourful and breathtakingly detailed  and precise. 

This tote is made from hand woven silk, and lined with block printed cotton; it has an open pocket and a zip pocket inside. The two straps are 30 cms long.
