Applied byhand at Injiri’s in-house studio, smocking becomes a method of shaping textileswithout tailoring. Used on sheer cottons and silks, it forms controlled gathers that suggest volume and fragility simultaneously. The technique was introduced not as embellishment but as structure.  Injiri reinterprets smocking with fine needle discipline, transforming it from domestic decoration into quiet architecture on cloth.
