KUTCH QUILT - Desert Red Ajrakh

This beautiful hand stitched quilt has been lovingly made by grandmother Bhachiben from Kutch in Gujarat State. She has used alternate coloured stitching in traditional kutch style, with typical brightly coloured pom pom decorations to the corners.

The handloomed organic cotton, quilted to naturally dyed ajrakh hand block printed fabric, and lightly padded with cotton wadding, is a stunning artisinal piece. 

Perfect for a single bed, as a throw over the end of a queen size bed or to cuddle up to on the couch.
