VINTAGE AJRAKH KANTHA - Indigo Night Flower

A deep midnight indigo hand block printed vintage kantha with detailed printing and very fine stitiching. This particular piece with an explosion of floral firework images in the centre, with tradtional ajrakh block prints to the borders.

Reverse a plain ink indigo blue with fine white sqaures of kantha stitching showing through.These pieces are vintage, and they tell the story of their age - so expect some surprising patches, and some wear and tear. This piece is a medium weight.

These are not considered faults, but part of the beauty and character of the recycled handstitched vintage fabric, and to be embraced and celebrated.
